Design System at LSEG
Driving efficiency Streamlined collaboration between design and engineering
Jul 2023-ongoing
Overview
At Transreport, I established a multi-brand design system that streamlined collaboration between design and engineering teams.
A design system is a set of building blocks and standards that help keep the look and feel of products consistent and encourage using good UI patterns.
Design system benefits
Cohesion
Design systems introduce a shared set of tokens, principles, components and patterns. Design systems help deliver consistent experiences across different platforms.
Scalability
Increased efficiency and consistency allows TR to build new products and features faster and at scale.
Efficiency
Designers and engineers use standardised and modular workflows to make design hand-off much easier and more efficient, reducing design and tech debt along the
way.
Accessibility
By focusing on creating modular components and workflows, the design and engineering teams can build accessible experiences at scale.
